Protecting Your Sight
with Earlier Detection
and Smarter Monitoring.

Many sight-threatening eye diseases develop quietly. Our technology helps us look beneath the surface, document subtle changes, and create a clear plan to preserve your vision for the long term.

Family

Preventative eye care is especially important if you notice or have

Family history of glaucoma or macular degeneration
New floaters, flashes, or shadowed vision
Blurred, distorted, or missing central vision
Gradual loss of side vision
Diabetes, high blood pressure, or other health risks
No symptoms at all, but overdue for a full exam

Common diseases that
benefit from early detection

01

Glaucoma

Glaucoma damages the optic nerve, often without pain or obvious symptoms until vision loss has already occurred. We monitor eye pressure, optic nerve structure, and peripheral vision to catch early change.

02

Age-Related Macular Degeneration

AMD affects the macula, the part of the retina responsible for sharp central vision. Imaging helps us detect early pigment changes, drusen, fluid, or bleeding that may require closer monitoring or referral.

03

Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetes can weaken and damage retinal blood vessels before you notice vision changes. Retinal imaging allows us to document leakage, bleeding, swelling, and other signs that need follow-up.

04

Retinal Tears and Detachments

Flashes, floaters, or a curtain in your vision can signal a retinal problem. Widefield views help us evaluate the far edges of the retina where tears may occur.

05

Cataracts

Cataracts cloud the natural lens over time, causing glare, blur, and difficulty driving at night. We track changes and help you understand when surgery should be considered.

06

Vascular Eye Disease

High blood pressure and circulation problems can show up in the eyes. Retinal findings may reveal narrowed vessels, bleeding, swelling, or blocked circulation that needs medical coordination.

Tools that help us see
what symptoms cannot

1

OCT Imaging

Optical Coherence Tomography creates detailed cross-section images of the retina and optic nerve. It is especially helpful for glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic swelling, and other subtle structural changes.

2

Widefield Fundus Imaging

Widefield retinal photography, including OPTOS-style imaging, captures a broad view of the retina in a single image. It helps us document the central and peripheral retina for disease monitoring over time.

3

ERG Testing

Electroretinography measures how well retinal cells respond to light. It can provide functional information that complements imaging, especially when symptoms and exam findings do not fully explain each other.

4

Visual Field Testing

Visual fields map your side vision and help detect patterns of loss that may be caused by glaucoma, neurological conditions, or other optic nerve problems.

Prevention starts with a baseline

When we capture images and measurements while your eyes are healthy, we have a reliable point of comparison for future visits. Small changes become easier to spot, explain, and manage.

3M
Americans have glaucoma - and many do not know it because early symptoms are often silent
11M
Americans are affected by age-related macular degeneration, a leading cause of central vision loss

Common questions
about ocular disease care

Often, yes. Glaucoma, early macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and other conditions can develop before they affect the way you see. Imaging and functional testing help us catch problems earlier.
It depends on your risk factors and findings. Some patients only need a baseline and routine monitoring, while others benefit from testing every few months to watch for progression.
When advanced treatment is needed, we coordinate referral with the appropriate specialist. We also continue to help monitor your eye health and keep your care connected.
Call right away. Sudden flashes, new floaters, or a curtain-like shadow can be signs of a retinal tear or detachment and should be evaluated promptly.
